A Tribute to Bobby Mueller…

This world is shy one Pitmaster;
Bobby Mueller has smoked
his last 'cue.
But like the scent at
Louie's, his legend will cling,
Beyond all the praise that
we mortals can sing.
Sure, his magic
transformed meat, smoke and heat,
But his life showed the
world something else;
Yes, he left his mark on
his hometown and Texas,
Where he left a big part
of himself –
As memories for Wayne,
LeAnn and John,
And friends here to there
– sure, we mourn that he’s gone;
But Bobby's smoke (without
mirrors), is not likely to change,
Even though a great
wrangler is now home on the range… |
